MOGHALU CONDEMNS ASSASSINATION OF AGULERI COMMUNITY PG, BARR. IFEANYI ILOAKASIA



Abuja – Chief Dr. George Moghalu, Anambra Labour Party governorship candidate and Immediate Past Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), has vehemently condemned the brutal assassination of Barrister Ifeanyi Iloakasia, popularly known as Rolex, President-General of Aguleri community. Barrister Iloakasia was shot alongside his client shortly after a court session in Ekwulobia.


Describing the attack as “cowardly and calculated,” Moghalu decried it as a serious setback to justice, peace, and community leadership in Anambra State. He called for a swift and thorough investigation into the incident, expressing deep concern over the deteriorating security situation marked by frequent violent attacks across the state.


Moghalu urged the security agencies to intensify efforts to apprehend the perpetrators and called on the government to implement robust security measures to safeguard citizens, legal practitioners, and community leaders.


Reaffirming his unwavering commitment to peace and justice, Moghalu insisted that the killers’ attempt to silence the voice of justice will not succeed.
