Mrs. Obiukwu Vows to Lead Awka South Solution Vanguard To Deliver Soludo On November 8, Anambra Guber Poll

The Awka South Solution Vanguard Support Group, under the leadership of Chief Mrs. Rita Obiukwu, Head of Local Government Administration (HLGA), has pledged unwavering support for Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo’s re-election in the forthcoming November 8 Anambra governorship election.


Speaking during a strategic meeting held at the Awka South Local Government Headquarters with members of the Solution Vanguard and the State Working Council, Mrs. Obiukwu warmly welcomed the delegation and commended their dedication to grassroots mobilization.


She affirmed the group’s firm resolve to ensure Governor Soludo's return, highlighting his transparency, accountability, and transformative leadership as key achievements that have earned the people's confidence.


“We have unanimously agreed to throw our full weight behind Governor Soludo,” Mrs. Obiukwu stated. “His leadership has brought visible progress to Anambra State, and we are committed to ensuring continuity.”


Also speaking, the Mayor of Awka South Local Government Area, Prince Chinedu Okafor, declared unequivocally that Awka South is the stronghold of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). He described the council as the heartbeat of progressive politics in Anambra and reaffirmed his total commitment to the Soludo re-election campaign.


“The progressive agenda of APGA aligns perfectly with the vision of Governor Soludo. Awka South is fully behind him,” he said.


In his remarks, the Chairman of the Anambra State Local Government Service Commission and Convener of the Solution Vanguard, Barr. Vin Ezeanya, applauded both the Mayor and Mrs. Obiukwu for their proactive leadership. He emphasized the critical role of grassroots structures in election victory and urged members to intensify their outreach efforts.


The event was further enlivened by a vibrant performance from the Solution Vanguard Band Group, led by the State Coordinator. Their energetic campaign songs and traditional dances added colour and excitement to the gathering, reinforcing the spirit of unity and determination among the supporters.
