The cultural festival featured countries from Europe, Asia and Africa, even as Anambra state was the only State that represented Nigeria. It was a cultural festival organised by the immigrants office i.e the office that coordinates all the foreign countries in the Munich Municipal council.   The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has pledged to join forces with the Anambra State Ministry of Youth Development to steer youths away from  social vices . The partnership, announced on  Wednesday,July 10, aims to sensitize youths to shun violence, social vices, and criminal activities that can hinder their potential and harm their communities.  The State Commandant of NSCDC, Comdt. Maku Olatunde, and the Commissioner for Youth Development, Patrick Agha Mba, reaffirmed their commitment to the partnership during a meeting at the NSCDC State Command Headquarters in Awka. Comdt. Maku called on Nigerian youths to abstain from inordinate ambitions, restiveness and other vices, capable of militating against youth development and national security but rather channel their energy into socially beneficial engagements. However, over the years, the agency has been plagued with allegations mismanagement and corruption, with the most recent scandals unfolding under the leadership of Dr. Samuel Ogbuku.
