Umunya Monarch Hopeful, Chief Ndubuisi Olieh, Urges Supporters to Shun Violence, Embrace Unity ‎

‎A leading contender for the traditional stool of Umunya in Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State, Chief Ndubuisi Olieh (Ebubechukwu Uzo I na Nya), has called on his supporters to remain steadfast, peaceful, and committed to the progress of the community as the contest for the throne intensifies.

‎

‎Addressing his loyalists during a meeting, Chief Olieh described the journey to the royal throne as a divine mandate, noting that leadership should ultimately reflect the will of the people. He assured that he would wholeheartedly support anyone who genuinely carries the divine mandate to lead Umunya.

‎

‎He cautioned his supporters against actions capable of causing division or attracting enmity, urging them instead to promote peace, diligence, and brotherhood throughout the process. Chief Olieh commended his campaign team for their discipline and conduct so far, reminding them that the welfare of Umunya must remain the top priority.

‎

‎The frontline aspirant also expressed deep gratitude to his Director-General, Chief Amechi Onyekwuluje, for his unwavering dedication to the campaign. Reflecting on the uncertainties of life, he emphasized that “death is inevitable,” stressing that the pursuit of the throne must be anchored on love for the community, not personal interest.

‎Chief Olieh reaffirmed his belief that Umunya comes first, urging all stakeholders to work together to ensure peace and unity during the selection process.
