SOLUTION YOUTH MOVEMENT OF NIGERIA (SYMON) AGUATA LGA CHAPTER HOLDS NEW YEAR EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MEETING
The Solution Youth Movement of Nigeria (SYMON), Aguata LGA Chapter, held its New Year Executive Council meeting on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Logart Hills Hotel, Ekwulọbịa. The meeting, which marked the beginning of the year’s activities, brought together LGA Executives and Ward Coordinators under the leadership of Comr. Okpala Chinedu Vincent, the Coordinator of SYMON Aguata LGA.
Comr. Okpala Chinedu Vincent commended members for their unwavering solidarity and support, especially during the recently concluded Aguata Youth Economic and Political Summit, themed "Empowering Youth: Catalyst for Economic Growth and Political Change."
The Coordinator emphasized the need for continued support for the youth-friendly Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR, commending his numerous developmental projects in Aguata and other LGAs of the state, the Homeland Bill tagged AGUNECHEMBA (Operation Udo Ga Achị), ongoing 1 YOUTH 2 SKILLS training of over 8,000 youth, teachers recruitment etc. He also highlighted the upcoming celebration of the Governor’s third year in office, describing it as a significant milestone. He reminded members that 2025 is an election year, as Mr. Governor will be seeking reelection for a second term, urging members to actively mobilize support for his visionary leadership.
Additionally, the Coordinator congratulated Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike, the newly elected Mayor of Aguata, and the 20 Councilors, while informing members about the forthcoming LGA Congress, as directed by the National Body of SYMON, led by Hon. Izuchukwu Okafor (Commissioner for Finance) and the State Coordinator, Hon. Obinna Joseph Nwankwo (Obinna Orumba).
Nze KC Nwaka, Chairman of the Planning Committee for the summit, expressed gratitude to God for the summit’s success and the safety of all participants.
