EUROPE RETURNEE MEETS DEATH YEARS AFTER ESCAPING INTO THE SAFETY OF EUROPE

 


A rustic village in Okigwe was on September 2024 thrown into mourning following the brutal murder of an Europe based returnee, Mr John Ude who was home for the burial of his mother which was billed for September 2024!


Narrating the story to Easterntruth, the sister of the deceased, Nneka Udeh decried the double tragedy that had hit the family.

According to her, her brother who was killed by suspected Jihadist bearing stones had accused the late John Udeh alongside two other of his friends, Kelechi Dike and one other of desecrating their mosque sometime in the year 2014!

Decrying the rising spate of insecurity, Nneka wondered how   come about these Jihadists knew their brother was to after 11 years whilst calling on the security agencies to bring the perpetrators to book.

Knowing how tortuos road trips can be , saddled with incessant stop and search, they on that fateful decided to stop by a small community in the Dikwa area , they decided to urinate on a nearby wall not  knowing that the place was a mosque belonging to a dreaded Jihadist group! 


The young men who emerged from the mosque had given the trio a hot chase brandishing clubs,  stones and whatever they coule lay their hands on as well as screaming  Haram and death to the infidels.



They claimed they had desecrated their mosque by urinated on the walls -- an act which they boys later admitted claiming they never knew it was a mosque.


While John and Barnabas also called Kelechi  managed to escape  but the other was not so lucky as he was beaten to a pulp and incinerated by the Jihadist on that sad day.


Imagine the relief felt by both families on their loved brothers who then teenagers suceessfully fleeing the country away from the murderous group.


But this joy was shortlived as 10 years after, John Ude was tracked down while attending his late mother's funeral.




His family most especially his aged mother has since been thrown into anguish and pain! 


According to an eyewitness, they left, promising to get Kelechi whenever he sets feet in the country. He can run, but he cant hide.

Many are wondering  why the Nigerian authorities are yet to bring insecurity to it's knees in Nigeria!

Anambra Police Arrest Man for Mother’s Murder, Foil Suicide Attempt in Ekwulobia

Ekwulobia, Anambra State – A 49-year-old man, Nnamdi Anyaji, was arrested by police in Ekwulobia on April 11, 2025, for the brutal murder of his 68-year-old mother, Mrs. Dorathy Anyaji. The incident, which occurred at their residence in Amudo Village, stemmed from a heated dispute over profits from a cassava business, with Nnamdi accusing his mother of dishonesty. Police recovered an axe at the scene, believed to be the murder weapon.
