Anambra 2025: Door-2-Door Movement Declares Support For George Moghalu’s Governorship Bid



The momentum behind Chief Dr. George Moghalu’s 2025 governorship campaign continues to build, as the influential Door-2-Door Grassroots Movement officially declared their full support for his candidacy under the Labour Party.



 The announcement was made during a strategic political meeting at Dr. Moghalu’s residence in Uruagu-Nnewi, where the group widely recognized as one of the strongest grassroots structures in Anambra State pledged unwavering allegiance to his ambition of leading the state. The movement, originally founded in support of the late Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, now sees Moghalu as the political heir to continue the senator’s legacy.



 Addressing the crowd of supporters, Dr. Moghalu expressed deep gratitude for the endorsement, describing it as a divine alignment. “I am not just a politician i am a man of my word,” he said. “Bring your commitment, and I assure you, I will not disappoint you. This is only the beginning. God, who has brought us this far, will take us to the end. Remember, it is God that makes kings.



 He further assured the movement of their integral role in his campaign structure, promising full inclusion in decision-making and mobilization efforts. “Everyone who believes in this mission has a place in this campaign,” he added.



Speaking on behalf of the group, Hon. Bona Ogbonna, Founder and Convener of the Door-2-Door Movement, reaffirmed their collective decision to back Moghalu. “After a careful review of his track record, integrity, and passion for people-centered leadership, we are confident that Chief Dr. George Moghalu is the right man for the job,” he said. “As the political family of our late leader, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, we are united in this endorsement. We trust him with our future.

The endorsement marks a significant realignment in Anambra’s political terrain, especially with the powerful grassroots base of the late Senator Ubah now firmly behind Moghalu. Analysts believe this could reshape the Labour Party’s influence ahead of the 2025 elections and reposition Moghalu as a major contender for Agu Awka.
