Anambra Police Nab Domestic Worker for Stealing Employer’s Car

In a swift operation, police operatives from the 33 Police Station in Anambra State arrested a domestic worker, Mr. Divine Ifeanyi Nnalue, on the evening of June 13, 2025, for allegedly stealing his employer’s vehicle. 


The suspect was apprehended at Ugboji-Okpanam, near Asaba in Delta State, following an intelligence-driven investigation.


The stolen vehicle, a black Toyota Camry with registration number ENU 289 JF, belonged to Nnalue’s employer and was taken from Trinity Avenue, Federal Housing in 33. 


During interrogation, Nnalue confessed to selling the car to an unidentified individual. Police are now working to recover the vehicle and apprehend other persons involved in the crime.


SP Tochukwu Ikenga, Police Public Relations Officer for the Anambra State Police Command, praised the operatives’ diligence, stating, “This arrest underscores our commitment to tracking down criminals, protecting citizens’ properties, and upholding the law.”


The police urged the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to aid in maintaining security across the state.
