Child Abduction in Obosi: Anambra Police Seek Public Help

The Anambra State Police Command has launched an urgent appeal for public assistance following the abduction of a 3-year-old boy, Master Chimaobi Nwadike, in Obosi, Idemili North Local Government Area, on September 26, 2025.
According to preliminary investigations, the young boy was taken by an unidentified woman while under the care of his mother. The incident has sparked alarm in the community, prompting the police to intensify efforts to locate the child and apprehend the suspect.
SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Anambra State Police Command, urged residents to come forward with any information that could lead to the recovery of Master Chimaobi or the identification of the suspect. “We are counting on the cooperation of the public, particularly those in Anambra State, to help reunite this child with his family,” Ikenga stated.
The Command has provided emergency contact numbers and encouraged citizens to report any relevant details to the nearest police station. Authorities are working diligently to resolve the case and ensure the safe return of the child.
