Rtd. Capt. Casmir Issues Stern Warning To Outlaws Ahead Of Nov 8 Anambra Poll In Orumba North

The Mayor of Orumba North Local Government Area, Rtd. Capt. Casmir Nwafor, has issued a strong warning to troublemakers and political outlaws ahead of the November 8 Anambra gubernatorial election, declaring that Orumba North will remain a model of peace and order during the polls. 


The stern statement came shortly after the official endorsement of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo and his Deputy, Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim, by All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) faithful and stakeholders in the area.


Addressing journalists in his council office in Ajalli, Capt. Casmir emphasized his administration’s determination to guarantee a free, fair, and violence-free election, warning that any individual or group plotting to disrupt the process would face the full weight of the law. 


“Anyone seeking to cause trouble should carry their mischief elsewhere,” he declared, stressing that Orumba North’s security architecture is fully prepared to protect lives, property, and the integrity of the ballot.


The Mayor praised the unity and political consciousness of Orumba North’s stakeholders, describing the local government as “the best political ground” where the people have returned to their roots in APGA to promote peace, good governance, and sustainable development. 


He reaffirmed that the renewed support for the party reflects the people’s satisfaction with the Soludo administration’s people-centered policies.


Capt. Casmir also commended Governor Soludo for his visionary initiatives, including the One Youth, Two Skills programme, Free Education Policy, and Free Antenatal and Delivery Scheme, noting that these policies have directly impacted lives across the state. He called on the electorate of Orumba North to turn out massively on election day to ensure the continuity of the Solution Government for deeper development and progress.


In his remarks, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, Chief of Staff to the Governor and a proud son of Awgbu in Orumba North, expressed confidence that the people of the area will demonstrate their loyalty and appreciation through a record-breaking turnout. “Orumba North will deliver the highest vote count for Governor Soludo on November 8,” he assured.


Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, who was visibly elated by the massive show of solidarity, thanked the people for their unwavering support and reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the transformation agenda across the 21 local governments of Anambra State. 


The Governor further pledged that his next term would deepen the gains of the first, consolidating on infrastructure, education, youth empowerment, and economic inclusion.
