The St. Peter’s Special Science School Achina Old Boys’ Association Class of 2000 will mark its silver jubilee with a two-day grand celebration on December 29–30, 2025, at the Hilton Leisure Hotel, Awka. 


The milestone event will culminate in the official launch of the Millennium Charity Foundation, a pioneering initiative offering soft loans and grants to support struggling alumni in times of need.


Chukwudi Okeke (Don Makata), Chairman of the Millennium Set, told journalists that the reunion aligns with the association’s tradition of rotational class celebrations. 


“What sets our silver jubilee apart,” he emphasized, “is the establishment of a dedicated charity foundation. No old boy who identifies with us will face hardship alone; we are committed to lifting each other until everyone stands firm.”


Mazi Uche Nwafor (Autonomous), Chairman of the Planning Committee, revealed an impressive lineup of dignitaries:


- Special Guest of Honour: Chief Emeka Offia, National President, St. Peter’s Old Boys’ Association  

- Chairman of the Occasion: Engr. Dr. Cajethan Okolo  

- Spiritual Father of the Day: Rev. Fr. Evaristus Ibenegbu  

- Royal Father of the Day: Mr. Wilson Eze  


Nwafor anticipates a strong turnout from the Class of 2000 and alumni from other years, describing the weekend as “a historic homecoming.” Attendees can look forward to networking, nostalgia, and exciting incentives; including a high-stakes raffle draw.


The committee expressed gratitude to early sponsors and urged all St. Peter’s alumni to register promptly. “This is more than a reunion,” Nwafor added. “It’s a legacy of brotherhood and upliftment.”
