Anambra Billionaire Lawmaker Delivers Record-Breaking Victory For Soludo In Oyi LGA

In a historic display of political influence and grassroots mobilization, popular Anambra billionaire and celebrity legislator, Hon. Innocent Ojike -; Ojicam, member representing Oyi Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, has led his ward and polling unit to an unprecedented victory in the just-concluded Anambra governorship election. 


Umunya Ward One and Polling Unit 011, under his leadership, emerged the overall best-performing ward and polling unit in Oyi Local Government Area, securing a record-breaking 209 and 1,999 votes for Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo and his Deputy, Dr. OnyekaChukwu Ibezim, who were reelected for a second term.


With 571 registered voters and 228 accredited voters at Polling Unit 011, Hon. Ojike’s base delivered the highest number of votes across the 14 polling units in Umunya Ward One and the 207 wards in Oyi LGA, setting a new benchmark in electoral performance. 


The overwhelming turnout and result reflect the lawmaker’s strong connection with his constituents and his ability to rally grassroots support for the Solution agenda championed by Governor Soludo.


Observers have hailed this feat as a testament to Hon. Ojike’s unwavering commitment to inclusive governance and community development and noted that his consistent advocacy for the Soludo administration’s transformation policies has continued to endear him to the people of Oyi, positioning him as a leading force in Anambra’s evolving political landscape.


Reacting to the victory, Hon. Ojike expressed profound gratitude to his constituents for their trust and support, reaffirming his loyalty to Governor Soludo’s APGA-led government and pledged renewed dedication to effective representation, quality legislation, and collaborative governance, assuring that Oyi will remain a model of political unity and progressive leadership in Anambra State.
