APGA Chieftain, Nzewi, Hosts Awada Obosi Ward 6 APGA Family, Appreciates Their Uncommon Contribution to Soludo’s Overwhelming Victory

The Chairman of the Obosi Ward 6 Campaign Council, Hon. Nnanna Nzewi, on Monday treated the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Obosi Ward 6, Idemili North LGA family to a thanksgiving and appreciation get-together.

The well-attended appreciation meeting had over 500 members of the party in Awada, including stakeholders, 15 polling unit agents, over 150 canvassers, stakeholders, and members of the party.

The meeting, described by attendees as a huge success, was convened to thank and reward all party agents, canvassers, and committee members for their active participation and sacrifices during the last concluded election, where the APGA candidate, Governor Chukwuma Soludo, secured reelection, winning all the polling units in the 15 wards of Awada.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Nzewi, who is a Special Assistant to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Media, praised Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma, the State Commissioner for Works, who is the leader of the party in Obosi Ward, the largest in Anambra State with 130 polling units, whose support and strategic planning inspired the massive delivery of all the 15 polling units in Awada to APGA.

He commended the dedication of all APGA faithful in Awada for joining hands with him in delivering over 1,350 votes to Governor Soludo/APGA during the last Saturday election, urging them to remain steadfast as the government continues its transformational agenda for Ndi Anambra.

Nzewi noted that the election campaign was made easy for APGA because of the numerous infrastructural development projects and socio-economic benefits that Governor Soludo has made available for the people of the state.

According to him, the governor’s belief in providing Ndi Anambra with the kind of governance that directly impacts their lives stands him out as a leader who is out to make a difference.

“This meeting is just to say ‘Thank You’ to all in Awada Obosi who played a part in our success at the polls. I call them APGA foot soldiers. This is to say that we appreciate you all.

“APGA is one big family that recognizes service and has a reward system that has over the years ensured that party members who show exemplary service get some form of benefits.

“I want to assure you all that your efforts would not be in vain. Governor Soludo is a man who remembers, and he has promised to double his efforts at impacting the lives of our people,” he assured.

In a gesture of appreciation, he presented envelopes of gratitude to all members who served selflessly during the campaign and election periods, as well as food refreshment.

Among those who attended the get-together were Mr. Ifeanyi Chibuoke, APGA Obosi Ward 6 Chairman, Hon. Chinwe Nwachukwu, former councillor and Deputy Campaign Chairman, Hon.
