The arrests were made by operatives attached to the Otolo-Nnewi Division at approximately 1:45 p.m., following credible intelligence that led to the busting of a criminal hideout in the area. The suspects, identified as 21-year-old Ani Obinna and 43-year-old Okwudili Ezike, were apprehended after a hot pursuit by police operatives. The operation, conducted on April 25, 2025, targeted a criminal camp at Osumoghu Isieke Village, Ihiala Local Government Area, following credible intelligence.
