  Kenechukwu Ofomah Awka An Anambra-based football club primed for appearance in the Nationwide League One, NLO side, Gamechangers Football club on Wednesday, unveiled former professional footballer, Emmanuel Awa, as the new coach of the side, for the 2025/2026 football season. The unveiling of the coach took place at the Awka Township Stadium, Anambra State, during a ceremony to mark the one year anniversary of the existence of the Anambra-based grassroots football club.   The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has officially obtained the Out-of-Home Visual Campaign Political Permit from the Anambra State Signage & Advertisement Agency - ANSAA ahead of the Anambra State Governorship Election scheduled for November 8th, 2025.   By O'star Eze  A tragic shooting incident in Ogboji, Orumba South Local Government Area, has left ten people dead, prompting strong condemnation from the Anambra State Police Command. The unprovoked attack, which occurred on the evening of June 30, 2025, was carried out by armed criminals arriving in two Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs). According to a statement by SP Tochukwu Ikenga, Police Public Relations Officer, the assailants opened fire indiscriminately on a gathering, causing fatal injuries. The victims were immediately rushed to a hospital, where ten were confirmed dead. The bodies have been deposited in a morgue. The Anambra State Police Command has vowed to hunt down the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
