Ubah Marks Birthday with Over N10 Million in Medical Aid at FMC Umuahia

 


Chief Etomchukwu Ubah, popularly known as Akuchinyere Mba 1 of Isuochi, celebrated his birthday by paying medical bills totaling over N10 million for patients at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Umuahia. The gesture enabled the discharge of numerous patients across various wards.


Chief Ubah personally visited the hospital, ensuring the funds were used to clear bills for those unable to afford treatment. 


The Chief Medical Director of FMC Umuahia, Prof. Azubuike Onyebuchi, praised the act as a rare and commendable gesture, urging other wealthy individuals in Abia to borrow a leaf from him.  


Grateful patients expressed their appreciation, praying for continued blessings for Chief Ubah.


Speaking at the event, Chief Ubah described the initiative as the start of his birthday celebrations, noting plans to extend similar support to hospitals in Isuochi and Enugu. 


He attributed his ability to give back to divine blessings and emphasized his commitment to helping those in need.


The act has been widely hailed as a significant contribution to easing the financial burdens of patients in Abia State.
