   In a daring early-morning raid on June 15, 2025, at around 9:30 a.m., Anambra State Police Command operatives swooped in on a suspected cult initiation ceremony in Nawfia, Njikoka Local Government Area, apprehending six young men and seizing a cache of dangerous items.  Acting on a hot tip, the police operation disrupted the clandestine gathering, dealing a significant blow to cult activities in the region. Anambra Police Nab Domestic Worker for Stealing Employer’s Car

   By O'star Eze In a swift operation, police operatives from the 33 Police Station in Anambra State arrested a domestic worker, Mr. Divine Ifeanyi Nnalue, on the evening of June 13, 2025, for allegedly stealing his employer’s vehicle.  The suspect was apprehended at Ugboji-Okpanam, near Asaba in Delta State, following an intelligence-driven investigation. The stolen vehicle, a black Toyota Camry with registration number ENU 289 JF, belonged to Nnalue’s employer and was taken from Trinity Avenue, Federal Housing in 33.  During interrogation, Nnalue confessed to selling the car to an unidentified individual. Police are now working to recover the vehicle and apprehend other persons involved in the crime. Anambra Police Rescue Two Children, Arrest Suspects in Child Stealing Case

By O'star Eze  On June 12, 2025, operatives from the Ozubulu Divisional Headquarters of the Anambra State Police Command successfully rescued two children, aged 3 and 5, and apprehended two suspects involved in a child stealing incident. The arrests took place in Okpuno-Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area, following a swift response to a distress report. According to SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Anambra State Police Command, the operation was triggered by a report from the victims' mother. She was alerted by one of her children, who recounted how an unknown individual had abducted two siblings while they were on their way to her shop near Nwafor Junction, Eziora, Ozubulu. On June 12, 2025 , at approximately 10:20 a.m., operatives attached to the Awgbu Divisional Headquarters, leveraging community support, arrested a 19-year-old suspect, Chimaobi Mbonu, allegedly involved in the crime. According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, preliminary investigations reveal that Mbonu and other gang members, who remain at large, kidnapped and tortured their victim to death after collecting a ransom. Police Recover Automatic Pump Action Gun Onitsha, Anambra State  By O'star Eze  Police operatives attached to the Onitsha Main Market Police Division, with the assistance of local traders, have apprehended two suspects allegedly involved in the tragic murder of a 17-year-old boy on June 12, 2025. Authorities also recovered an automatic pump action gun linked to the incident. According to eyewitness accounts, the suspects, reportedly security operatives, were attempting to arrest a suspect in the bustling Onitsha Main Market when they opened fire indiscriminately. Tragically, a stray bullet struck and killed the innocent teenager.
