The operation, conducted in the early hours based on credible intelligence, led to the arrest of six suspects, including a female drug dealer, and the recovery of a large quantity of dried leaves suspected to be hard drugs, along with other incriminating substances. The arrested individuals were identified as Chinyere Onwuka, 32 (female), John Kennedy Onwuka, 36 (male), Chidiebere Onyeze, 30 (male), Echeazu Nonso, 35 (male), Osita Chukwu Chialuka, 21 (male), and Nnebedum Wisdom, 25 (male). The arrest, announced by the Anambra State Police Command on May 30, 2025, also led to the recovery of a machete and a stolen Honda Cub 120 motorcycle.
