Anambra Police, Igbo Youth Stakeholders Unite to Promote Peace and Security

By O'star Eze Awka, Anambra State – On May 31, 2025, the Anambra State Police Command, led by Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc MNIPS PhD, hosted Igbo Youth Stakeholders at the Command Headquarters in Awka to foster collaboration aimed at promoting peace and enhancing public safety across the state. The visit underscored the importance of collective efforts in creating a secure environment for all residents. CP Orutugu praised Anambra youths for their exemplary conduct on May 30, 2025, which marked a violence-free day despite threats from adversaries of the state. He emphasized the Command’s commitment to working with stakeholders to sustain peace and curb criminal activities.
